IT&CMA 2009 : Indulge Your Senses in the Flavors of SEOUL

The Seoul Soiree gala dinner was held on October 7th from 6:30 to 9 pm at this year's IT & CMA at Bangkok's Grand Centara Hotel. Hosted by the Seoul Tourism Organization (STO) this dinner event showcased Han Style in a spectacular evening filled with traditional music, fashion, fine dining, and art.

Feast on Asia was this year's event theme, and participants truly had the chance to feast on a wide selection of Korean delicacies. Guests were treated to the sights, sounds and savory dishes of Korea at this unique event. Han Style was the theme during this exciting evening displaying the elegance and splendor of traditional Korean clothing (Han-bok) artistically blended with romantic traditional Korean music and mouthwatering Korean cuisine (Han-sik). Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Korean Paper (Han-ji), traditional Korean architecture and building design (Hanok) as well as the Korean language (Hangul).

The evening also provided a great opportunity to discover and understand why Seoul has become one of the world's top MICE destinations. The Seoul Convention Bureau's (SCB) friendly and knowledgeable staff provided information and an informative presentation about the excitement and adventure that Seoul has to offer including incentives, and many new support programs for your next event.

The SCB were exhibitors during the IT&CMA exhibition where the SCB staff attended the booth offering more information and answering questions.

The Seoul Soiree was a great opportunity to find out more about Seoul and experience a uniquely Korean event delighting all of the senses and providing a taste of why Seoul IS your Complete Convention City!
