Seoul Wins the Hearts of MICE Buyers around the World

| IT&CMA (Incentive Travel, Conventions Meetings Asia), the grand festival of the MICE exhibition circuit, was held from October 6th to 8th at the Central World Bangkok Convention Center, located in the heart of the city's business district. The 17th event brought together over 2,000 MICE industry experts from 40 countries around the world under the banner of "Feast in Asia." Visitors and participants alike also agreed that this year's event displayed the charms and values of Korea and Seoul better than any other previous event. A special gala event titled "Seoul Soiree" allowed the SCB to display the charm and beauty of Seoul as a premiere travel destination by allowing visitors to experience the city's attractions through all five senses. Among the tradition Korean themes covered were Hanbok clothing, a fashion show, the Hangul alphabet and the country's distinctive cuisine. The event, organized by the Seoul Tourism Organization, was selected as the "Stickiest Function" during the Sticky Awards, giving Seoul the top event award for two years in a row illustrating Seoul's prowess as one of the world's top-ten convention cities, as well as its rising global profile as a prime travel and business destination. |
