The Seoul Convention Bureau (SCB) currently dispatches highly qualified volunteers to major international conferences and events held in Seoul, and has been holding the "Get to Know Seoul" event since March, in order to foster camaraderie among volunteers and help effectively promote the charms of the city to foreign visitors of international conferences.
The "Seoul Convention Volunteer Group," organized by the city of Seoul and the Seoul Tourism Organization's SCB, provides volunteer support to international conferences and events held in Seoul. Anyone above the age of 18 who is proficient in English or another foreign language with an interest in the convention industry can apply to take part.
The SCB is also running a professional human resource support program as part of its volunteer group, in order to help organizations manage successful international events. The SCB conducts a training program for volunteers once per year, and has been running the "Get to Know Seoul" event since March in order to familiarize the volunteers with Seoul's latest hotspots that can appeal
