Seoul to Promote Korean Styles, Cuisine at European Roadshows
The city of Seoul and the Seoul Tourism Organization will hold the city's first roadshows in Europe as part of its efforts to make strategic inroads into the important European MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions & Exhibitions) market.
The roadshows, to be held on May 28 in Brussels and July 12 in London, are expected to attract many foreign buyers and facilitate business consultations, since both cities have a high concentration of international bodies and multinational corporations.
The Belgian roadshow will be held the day after the closing of the IMEX exhibition, the meeting industry's largest event, maximizing the potential for business meetings and giving Korean companies participating in the exhibition a convenient opportunity to attend.
As reflected by its theme, "A Unique Blend of Korean Taste and Style," the roadshow will feature a sand animation performance accompanied by traditional Korean music as well as other events that demonstrate the theme of "Design, Korean Cuisine and Green Tourism." New Korean dishes created by star Michelin chefs Sang Hoon Degeimbre and Yves Mattagne will add a wow factor by exquisitely combining the tastes of East and West.
