2. Grand Hyatt Seoul:

Michelin Star Chef Stefano Balocco at the Paris Grill

Michelin-star chef, Stefano Baiocco from Villa Feltrinelli in Italy, will be showcasing his contemporary interpretations of authentic Italian cuisine at The Paris Grill, from October 26 to November 1. Stefano Baiocco, a native of Italy, will be bringing some of his top creations from the many Michelin star venues in which he has served, including Yokohama, New York, Hong Kong, Oxford, Spain and Italy.

Wine Club: The Big Reds;

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s The Wine Club is presenting its last event of the year, “Big Reds”, featuring a wide array of varietal red wines. As Seoul’s leading ambassador of wines offering a wide selection from around the world, The Wine Club has featured a different theme with each event, such as “Pinot Noir at its Best”, “Summer Wines”, “Made for Japan” and more. For the final event of the 2011 season, The Wine Club will feature a selection of 45 premium red wines with full aroma and flavour, from all over the world. Namsan Trekking Package

With the arrival of autumn, the perfect time to enjoy the great outdoors, Grand Hyatt Seoul will be presenting a variety of events through its “Namsan Trekking Package”. The package includes a relaxing, one night’s stay in a Grand room and a complimentary travel kit featuring a laundry bag, passport case and luggage tag, all specially made for the hotel. 3. The Lotte Hotel Seoul: ‘Art Meets Art’

Pierre Gagnaire à Séoul celebrates its third anniversary for offering creative and innovative French cuisine by a three-star Michelin chef with a special “Art Meets Art” event.

The culinary master Chef Pierre Gagnaire recommended Lee Bae, a Korean-born artist based in France, for this special occasion. Seven works by charcoal artist Lee Bae will be displayed at the restaurant from October 21 through December 31, offering diners a special cultural experience. Lee Bae has held exhibitions at Galerie RX in Paris, White Box in New York, and Today Art Gallery in Beijing. His works are also owned by National Museum of Contemporary Art and Seoul Museum of Art in Korea, as well as Privado Allegro Foundation and Baru Foundation in Spain.

In addition, PIERRE GAGNAIRE à Séoul offers “Je T’Aime in PIERRE GAGNAIRE à Séoul” proposal package composed of a full-course dinner, candlelight, wine, and cake for a more romantic mood. There are two full-course dinner menus. The Celebration Menu serves a 6-course dinner, one glass of red wine, white wine, and champagne each per person. 5. JW Marriott Seoul Appoints Andreas Krampl as Executive Chef

Andreas Krampl was appointed Executive Chef of the JW Marriott Seoul on Oct 4. With more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Krampl began his career as Chef Apprentice in his home country of Germany. With a strong passion for cooking and travel, he has worked with some of the most luxurious establishments in the hospitality industry, including 3 Michelin star restaurant Residence Heinz Winkler, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Sydney, Australia, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Jamaica, The Regent Hong Kong, The Grand Hyatt Era wan Bangkok, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, The Ritz-Carlton Bali, Indonesia, the pre-opening office at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, International Financial Centre and The Ritz Carlton & JW Marriott Beijing.

6. Nanta Book Day

NANTA has thrilled audiences and won over critics since its international debut in 1999. The first Asian production to hit Broadway, it’s an electrifying display of Korean traditional tempos in a fresh, modern style. Drama ensues as four cooks must prepare a wedding banquet in a hour. This vivacious and comical show is a nonverbal performance that showcases the rhythmic energy of Korean culture, sweeping all types of audiences off their feet.

From November 1-30, NANTA is planning to donate books to charity. By donating to the cause, you can help us make a difference in the lives of children.
