[SCB NEWS] 3,257 Financial Experts from India's HDFC Bank Enjoyed the Autumn Season in Seoul
2023-10-23

Indian HDFC Bank picked Seoul as the destination for corporate meetings and incentives

Six separate visits from October 11 to 27 at four 4-5 star accommodations

STO, supporting and attracting the “largest ever” Indian corporate meeting

“One-stop service” from corporate meetings and incentives to pre-event inspection and actual event

India, a global leader in the IT industry and the world's fastest-growing population, has chosen Seoul as its MICE destination. From October 11 to 27, a total of 3,257 members of the Indian HDFC Bank visited Seoul in six separate visits. This corporate event for India in Seoul is the largest ever held in history.

The financial experts affiliated with India's HDFC Bank stayed at four 4-5 star hotels in Seoul for four days, and fully enjoyed the autumn atmosphere of Seoul.

Back in September, the Seoul Tourism Organization supported a pre-event inspection for the Indian authorities who visited Korea. When Seoul was subsequently confirmed as the event location, the organization initiated “customized support,” including various administrative assistance to ensure the smooth participation of attendees.

The Seoul Tourism Organization provides tailored programs that align with the latest tourism trends, while offering a one-stop MICE comprehensive service, including securing additional support funds for preemptive event hosting and pre-event inspections, in order to dominate the rapidly growing market of corporate meetings and incentives.

Ki-yon Kil, the President & CEO of the Seoul Tourism Organism, stated, “Amid the significant increase in demand for corporate meetings and incentive tourism around the globe, the importance of the emerging Indian market in the recent tourism industry will continue to grow.” He further added, “We will strive to proactively secure new demand through active support.”
